The Mountain Cabin is used as a 'rest stop' for hikes, horseback rides, and ATV adventures by Ranch guests during the Spring and Summer. It is also an excellent destination for winter snow-mobiling or snow-shoeing hikes.

This solar-powered, spring-water fed cabin, has most of the conveniences of home, and yet is several miles from electric service! The views of the canyon below and sunsets to the West are outstanding. The Mountain Cabin is a 45 minute drive from the Lodge on gravel roads. The elevation is nearly 3000' higher and it is usually 10-15° cooler (and windier) than the lower Ranch.

A dinner at the Mountain Cabin, with a nice fire and steaks on the grill, can be a real highlight and relaxing way to end a day of outdoor adventures.

The Mountain Cabin is not used by guests for overnight stays and has day use only during the Spring and Summer Seasons.
