Visit the Mountain Cabin : This cabin is lovely for a short stay during your rides or hikes on the upper mountain. At an elevation of 7700', the Mountain Cabin is accessible by 4-wheeled ATVs, horseback, or mountain bike. It is solar-powered, heated, and plumbed to two mountain springs. It also has propane backup generator for heat and hot water. See photos here
Perched on the north rim of Billy Creek with great views, the Mountain Cabin is in the middle of wildlife's summer home. The vistas from the Mountain Cabin and upper mountain will add a new dimension to your ranch experience. Our “Big Sky” often allows you to see mountains more than a 100 miles in the distance. Enjoy the fireplace and screened porch. A sunset dinner can be arranged.
Horseback Riding: The Ranch owns a large number of horses with several “bulletproof” dude horses, as well as younger, energetic horses used frequently in our cattle operation. You will be matched to a horse that meets your experience and riding ambition, and fitted with a comfortable saddle and tack. For your own safety we do require that you bring and use your riding boots. The ranch has many trails for riders of every experience level where you will explore wonderful scenery and many natural surprises. We promise great memories!
Our extensive training facilities - which includes an indoor riding arena, outdoor riding arena,
indoor/outdoor round pens, stable, and dedicated horse pastures - are overseen by our resident horse trainer and allow us to keep up our training program all year long. The Ranch also has many beautiful, scenic trails for riders.
Rifle Range/Skeet Shooting: We own a complete rifle range and will provide instruction on gun and rifle use if you would like to participate in, enjoy, or learn about this aspect of Western life.
Stargazing: We own a Meade Telescope and our crystal clear nights will turn anyone into an Astronomy lover. There is neither light pollution and nor air pollution at Red Reflet Ranch, so you can view the Milky Way and the various galaxies in their full glory.
